A while back, I posted a picture of the Paul and Sandro in the back of my truck, the day we picked up Sandro from the children's home where the two of them grew up.

Paul had already been with us for a few months and figured he knew how everything ran.  Sandro looked about as nervous as was possible, leaving the only home he'd ever known.

There might have been a few moments in the past five years when we weren't entirely sure how it was all going to play out.  But God knew, and here we are!  Paul graduated with a degree in International Relations and Sandro graduated with a degree in Marketing!

It's been encouraging to look back and see how much these two young men have changed and grown.  It was fun to celebrate them and their accomplishments!

Sandro was ready to go ten minutes after the ceremony was finished.  We had to tell him we wanted a few pictures.  Paul decided he needed a picture with me on the platform and then he had to go around and get pictures with all of his his friends!

Then a few weeks later it was Darwin's turn. We didn't have as much lead time with Darwin. He's not the best at communicating and his institute tends to fly by the seat of it's pants at times.

Either way, we were there looking spiffy. Darwin graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. He had the opportunity to walk with his mom, which was special for her. I know Darwin's entire family was very proud of him.

Darwin hung around with us on weekends for a couple of years before we had the room for him to join us to study. I remember telling him it was time, and how excited he was. He's a funny kid, but a bit quiet at time. As he was preparing for him final presentation to graduate, we we're entirely sure what to expect.

Turned out he got a 100%! His institute even posted part of his presentation on their web page! So we were proud.

Thanks so much for celebrating with us!

So many people commented on the guys' pictures and sent them little messages.  They really enjoyed that!  It helps them to know that they're a part of a larger community and that people they don't even know care for them!

Hope you enjoyed seeing our graduations!  It's crazy but we have three more coming up in the next year or so!  Time flies by I guess.  God has been very faithful to us with this group of young men!
